Captain Chris is the new “new guy”. Just got his Captains license last year, and he’s already logging some serious sea-time. He describes himself as the “annoying neighbor” living down the canal of the OMC headquarters. But the truth is he’s been a BIG help over the years helping us maintain a fleet of boats. T’was just a matter of time before he started officially working for us.
Whatever ya say about Chris, just about everyone agrees…he’s one fishy dude. And it’s no secret why. He grew up on the water, fishing hard since he was a kid. He’s one of those guys, like the rest of us, that was just born with it in his blood. Couldn’t get away from it if he wanted to.
He’s got a plethora of experience both in and offshore. And one thing that characterizes Chis is his extraordinary will to find fish. Wanna get home early? Chris probably ain’t your guy.
We’ve watched him over the last several years become a great striper fisherman, and an even better offshore one. But Chris brings a whole new dimension to the OMC brand…BOTTOM FISHING. He’s made a name for himself over the years as one of the best fluke and black fishermen between Fire Island and New Jersey with multiple fluke and tog crossing that coveted 10lb mark. Chris is also a holder of the NY state record for sheepshead at 13.9lbs caught in 2020.
